Bob Odenkirk’s son says actor is ‘going to be OK’ after on-set ‘heart-related incident’.

Many were shocked to hear news of actor Bob Odenkirk collapsing on the set of his AMC series, “Better Call Saul.” Fortunately, son Nate Odenkirk is assuring fans, friends and family that the star will be just fine.

“He’s going to be okay,” Nate, 22, tweeted early Wednesday evening, hours after TMZ initially reported that the 58-year-old Emmy-nominated actor “went down” while filming in Culver City, Calif.

A rep for Odenkirk, however, confirmed that the incident took place in New Mexico, not Culver City.

Odenkirk played lawyer Saul Goodman in the AMC phenomenon “Breaking Bad,” and took up the character again in the prequel series “Better Call Saul.” The show was in the process of filming its sixth season.

Odenkirk won raves earlier this year for the action-thriller “Nobody,” in which he plays a man bent on revenge following a break-in at his suburban home. In an interview about the film, he told SlashFilm he’d be open to doing another action film, “in a heartbeat.”

During the course of the sit-down, he also revealed that he was working on a project with David Cross, his co-writer and co-creator of the beloved HBO 1990s sketch-comedy “Mr. Show.”
