Meet Ken! Following the first look at Margot Robbie as Barbie in the upcoming live-action movie about the iconic Mattel doll, on Wednesday, Warner Bros. Pictures shared a first look at Ryan Gosling as her longtime male companion.
In the sneak-peek pic, a shirtless Gosling, 41, rocks a deep tan, denim vest, platinum blond locks and peekaboo underwear — complete with “Ken”-branded waistband, of course.
The star-studded cast for the Barbie film — directed by Oscar nominee Greta Gerwig and written by Gerwig and Noah Baumbach — also includes Kate McKinnon, Alexandra Shipp, America Ferrera, Simu Liu, Hari Nef, Will Ferrell, Issa Rae and Michael Cera.
After the images were posted, Gosling’s longtime partner Eva Mendes took to Instagram to share her excitement over the role.
“So. F. Funny. So. F. Good. So F excited for you to see this…#Thatsmyken,” Mendes marveled.
Margot Robbie plays the titular character in the highly anticipated film. The Aussie actress took her pink convertible out for a spin in stills released in April.
“Barbie” hits theaters on July 21, 2023.
