Newscaster Erhan Çelik filed a lawsuit for 1 lira compensation, claiming that he was cheated on one year after his divorce in 2018, and that singer Gülben Ergen shared about him on her social media account.
In response to the lawsuit, Gülben Ergen filed a 1 million lira compensation lawsuit through her lawyer Emek Emre.
Gülben Ergen’s lawyers Emek Emre and Erhan Çelik’s lawyers participated in the mutual compensation case at the Istanbul Civil Court of First Instance.

Erhan Çelik’s lawyer demanded that their case be accepted because Gülben Ergen’s social media post was directed at his client Erhan Çelik.
Gülben Ergen’s lawyer, Emek Emre, stated that they did not accept the claims of the other party, that they were not proven, and that Gülben Ergen suffered moral damage as a result of the events and demanded that their case be accepted.
The court decided to reject Erhan Çelik’s 1 TL compensation.
The court partially accepted the 1 million lira compensation lawsuit filed by Gülben Ergen and ruled that Çelik should pay 250 thousand liras in compensation.
