Michael B. Jordan and Lori Harvey are calling it quits after just over a year together. A source tells ET that the pair “broke up recently” and cited being at “different stages in their lives” as the reason for the split.
“Lori and Michael broke up recently. They were at different stages in their lives,” the source shared. “The two of them are trying to move on, but they’re both heartbroken and upset.”. “They still love each other.”
“Michael matured a lot over the course of their relationship and was ready to commit for the long term,” the source added. “He let down his guard with her, opening up emotionally in a romantic relationship for the first time. They had great times together and brought out the best in each other.”
Jordan, 35, and Harvey, 25, started dating in the fall of 2020 and went Instagram-official in January 2021. Over the course of their relationship, they shared several sweet moments and sexy snaps with fans, including snaps from several tropical getaways.
The pair celebrated their one-year anniversary in November ,In December, Jordan told The Hollywood Reporter that he “finally found what love was” in Harvey and explained why he was comfortable going public with their relationship.
Jordan was no stranger to dating in the industry either, as he has been tied to model Cindy Bruna, actress Kiki Layne and YouTuber Catherine Paiz. He was also rumored to have dated his “Black Panther” co-star Lupita Nyong’o, but both denied the whispers and asserted they were nothing more than friends.
