Sharon Stone claims she’s ‘being threatened’ after set vaccination request.

Sharon Stone said getting the COVID-19 vaccine shot should be a basic instinct for all who work on film sets.

In a campaign video for the 63-year-old’s bid run as a member of the SAG-AFTRA board of directors, the “Basic Instinct” actress alleged that she is “being threatened” with the loss of an acting job because she’s demanding the crew working on the show be vaccinated. Stone’s next project is a television series being shot in Atlanta.

“I’ve been offered a job — a good job, a job I really want to do in Atlanta,” Stone said in the video with Deadline. “That’s why my hair is standing on end … because the Producers Guild of America will not guarantee that everyone on our show is vaccinated before I go to work.

Stone also revealed she lost her health insurance “after 43 years in the [film] business because of COVID. I was $13 short … I don’t really think that that is reasonable for any of us.”

On July 19, SAG-AFTRA stated in a press release that the option of getting the COVID-19 vaccine would be allowed on film and television sets.

The agreement will stay in effect through Sept. 30, 2021.
