Halsey is giving fans an update on their health after revealing they spent much of April “in and out” of the hospital.
“Obviously my health has changed a lot since I got pregnant and gave birth,” the “About Me” singer, 27, said in a series of Instagram Stories posted on Tuesday, May 10. “I started getting really, really, really, sick … I was hospitalized for anaphylaxis, a few times, and I had some other stuff going on.”
The New Jersey native, who is mom to 9-month-old son Ender with partner Alev Aydin, explained in the videos they’ve been diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, Sjogren’s syndrome, mast cell activation syndrome (MCAS) and postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS) in addition to their previously diagnosed endometriosis.
Halsey, who uses “she/they” pronouns, explained“I don’t want anybody to be worrying. I’m on a treatment plan right now,” they assured fans, adding that they’re still in rehearsals for the upcoming “Love and Power” Tour.
Halsey previously underwent surgery for their endometriosis last month, just days before attending the Grammys.
