Miley Cyrus Debuts at No. 1 on Billboard Hot 100 for the First Time in Her Career With ‘Flowers’!

Miley Cyrus just hit a personal milestone!

The 30-year-old music superstar just debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 as of Tuesday (January 24), marking the first time she ever debuted at No. 1 on the chart, and the first time she hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 since 2013 with “Wrecking Ball.

Flowers” is also the most streamed song in a single week in Spotify history with 96 million streams, according to the streaming service.

The “Flowers” singer thanked her fans for the achievement on social media.

“This song is dedicated to my fans & the steadfast self love I wish for each of you,” Cyrus wrote of her self-love breakup anthem.

Flowers” was released as the first single in a new era for Cyrus, who announced the song after her Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party show Dec. 31.

The single was hinted at with mysterious billboards around cities such as New York and Los Angeles. Soon after, Cyrus also announced that her next studio album, titled Endless Summer Vacation, will release in March 2023.

The closest she’s ever come to a No. 1 debut was with “Party in the U.S.A” in 2009, which reached No. 2. However, she previously hit No. 1 for three weeks with “Wrecking Ball” nearly 10 years ago.
