Ippolito most recently starred in Netflix’s teen drama series “Grand Army.” In addition to “Pixels,” his previous film credits include “The English Teacher,” “You Have the Right to Remain Violent” and “Bella.”

The upcoming role as Pacino in “The Offer” will tell the story behind the making of Francis Ford Coppola’s famed film.

The series itself is based on Oscar-winning producer Albert S. Ruddy’s (portrayed by Miles Teller) experience during the making of the movie.

Paramount+‘s highly anticipated limited series will consist of 10 episodes written and executive produced by showrunner Nikki Toscano, along with creator and Oscar and Emmy-nominated writer Michael Tolkin (“Escape at Dannemora,” “The Player”). Leslie Greif (“Hatfields & McCoys”) and Teller will also act as executive producers on the production. Dexter Fletcher (“Rocketman”) will direct the series’ first and last blocks.

The 1972 film was directed by Coppola and adapted from Puzo’s best-selling novel of the same name. The film starring Brando, Pacino, James Caan, John Cazale, Robert Duvall, Diane Keaton and Talia Shire was nominated for 11 Oscars and won three.
